Not every website problem calls for a full rebuild, but certain signs are strong indicators that a redesign will pay for itself.
The clearest sign is performance: if your site is slow, doesn't work well on mobile, or scores poorly on Core Web Vitals, incremental fixes often cost more in the long run than a focused rebuild.
A second sign is clarity: if visitors regularly ask questions that are already 'answered' on your site, or if your bounce rate is high on key pages, the structure or messaging may not be doing its job.
A third is simply age. Design conventions, browser standards and user expectations shift over several years, and a site built even five years ago can feel dated in ways that quietly undermine trust.
